The workshop includes training in advanced neonatal hemodynamic assessments such structural and functional assessment of the heart by echo, evaluation of hemodynamically significant patent ductus arteriosus, PPHN and Shock
The workshop includes optional prerequisite courses available online at Neopeds Academy, which are strongly recommended to be taken by everyone before the workshop for better understanding and to optimize your learning.

Dr. Abdul Wahab (a.k.a Dr.Gani) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at McMaster University. He pursued his medical training in India, completed his postgraduate training in Pediatrics and Neonatology at Manipal University India and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship Program, and Masters in eHealth at McMaster University. He was the Program Director for Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship Program at McMaster University from 2013 to 2018. He was the first recipient of McMaster's prestigious DPLEIA Award for his educational innovation during his leadership. His passion is training and knowledge translation in TnEcho and Point of care ultrasound in Neonatology. He is now the Program Director for the TNE fellowship and chair of the TNE and POCUS committee at McMaster. He is the founding co-chair of the international POCUSNEO program in Canada. He conducted several local, international, and online conferences, courses, and workshops on TNE and POCUS

Yasser Elsayed is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Manitoba, Staff Neonatologist, and Researcher at the children's hospital research institute of Manitoba. He is the Founder and Director of the integrated hemodynamics program and point of care ultrasound in Winnipeg. The co-chair of the POCUNEO group. He conducted more than 50 workshops in the last 5 years locally, nationally, and internationally. His research interests are in the field of hemodynamics and physiology-oriented practice. He was the co-chair of the Canadian National Perinatal Research Meeting 2020.

Dr Yogen Singh is a Consultant Neonatologist with Expertise in Pediatric Cardiology at Loma Linda
University School of Medicine, USA.
He is the Chair for ESPNIC Cardiovascular Dynamics Section and POCUS Working Group. He is one of the
well-known experts in the world in the field of hemodynamics in neonates and children; he has special
interest in neonatal and paediatric hemodynamics and advanced functional echocardiography imaging.
He is passionate about point of care ultrasound (POCUS) / functional echocardiography training for the
neonatal and paediatric intensivists so that it can be widely used while making clinical making decisions
in emergency situations.
He is the lead author for the world’s first evidence-based POCUS guidelines for use in neonatal and
pediatric intensive care unit and “Expert Consensus Statement on Neonatologist Performed
Echocardiography (NPE): Training and Accreditation in the UK”. He is a member of the Steering
Committee for the European Neonatologist Performed Echocardiography (NPE) working group. Yogen is
a course director at ‘Cambridge Paediatric and Neonatal Echocardiography Course’ and TINEC course in
Switzerland. He has facilitated numerous echocardiography training courses in the UK, Europe, USA and
beyond, and he has published widely in this field.
