This course is designed to teach basic lung and cardiac ultrasound skills to all neonatologists and paediatricians (Highly recommended to all neonatal and pediatric care practitioners)

Course Objectives: After completing this course, you will be able to:

Lung Ultrasound:

Understand the basics of lung ultrasound.
Differentiate between TTN and RDS using a lung ultrasound score.
Demonstrate features of lung ultrasound in cases with lung consolidation/pneumothorax.
Calculate and utilize a lung ultrasound score.

Echocardiography & Integrated Haemodynamics:

Understand basic echo views.
Obtain and optimize basic echo views.
Understand the basic fundamentals of the underlying pathophysiology, cardiac function, and haemodynamics in different disease states (Hypoxic respiratory failure, Pulmonary hypertension Shock, PDA, Hypoxic ischaemic encephalopathy).
